Summer in RI: Preggo Edition ☀️🌊🤰🏻
Growing a human is cool and all, but nothing, and I mean nothing, has made me happier this summer than having my firstborn (🐾) get a special seat at our family lobster dinners 🥹🦞❤️

Our little princess girl Briar is in for a rude awakening this fall 😂! Baby Boy Rose arriving in November 💙👶🏻🩵

Spent Christmas and NYE in Hawaii and Florida spot

Spent Christmas and NYE in Hawaii and Florida spotting turtles everywhere, swimming with whales, watching beautiful sunsets, and letting Briar climb on top of us, per usual. 🌺🌅🐢

Yesterday, I ran the NYC Marathon on zero sleep. It was my birthday and I had so many people cheering my name and wishing me a happy birthday along the way. The whole day was insane and such a wild ride. My goal was to just finish the marathon strong, and I truly cannot believe how strong I finished that damn thing. I was absolutely FLYING the last two miles—I told Curtis last night that I shoulda gotten my first speeding ticket cause I was racing past everyone around me. It was so cool and I’m so proud of myself.

This was so incredibly outside of my comfort zone, holy crap. I’m not an athlete and I never excelled in any sports. It’s so strange to put your body through so much pain for a sport lol, but that’s what I signed up to do yesterday and I cannot believe the pain I was able to push through.

I also can’t believe how many family and friends came out to support me. Thank you to everyone who sent texts messages, voice memos, made Vanessa Carlton-themed signs, shot out confetti into my face, gave me big hugs, tracked my race from thousands of miles away and texted me throughout my journey, came to my after party and traveled along the marathon route to cheer me on. I am so lucky and so grateful.

I was honored to run this race for @smiletrain and am so grateful to everyone for your donations to my fundraiser.

Thank you to my husband for supporting me throughout this whole journey and planning the best birthday celebration for me. I could not have run this race without my running coach, @trainingwithtess from @futurefitapp . Even when I had my doubts about being able to do this (and believe me when I say I had a million doubts), Tess was there to reassure me and to trust my training. Also wouldn’t have gotten through the morning without my girl @aleigh_beard —so grateful that we got to experience this crazy marathon journey together!

I love my city and I’m so proud of be a New Yorker today 🌆🍎

I’M RUNNING A MARATHON! From Shanghai to Central P

I’M RUNNING A MARATHON! From Shanghai to Central Park, London to California, Italy to Texas, and everywhere in between—I’ve spent the past few months running around the world (literally) to train for the greatest run of my life. I’m thrilled (and honestly a little terrified) to share that I’ll be running the NYC Marathon this November 2…on my birthday! 🎉

Even better? I’m running for a cause that couldn’t be closer to my heart—or my mouth lol. I’m running with @smiletrain, an incredible nonprofit that provides free cleft lip and palate surgeries and essential care to children around the world.

I was born with a cleft palate, and I know firsthand how life-changing these surgeries can be. They allow children to eat, speak, and smile with confidence, and they truly change lives.
It would mean the world to me (and to so many kids still waiting for care) if you’d consider donating to my fundraiser at the link in bio! You can also read more about my own cleft journey there, too.

I hope to see some of you out there cheering on November 2—and if you’re looking for me on race day, just scan the back with the slow pokes. I’ll be back there, running with purpose, pride, and my inhaler ❤️🏃‍♀️💙 @smiletraincommunity #firstmarathontraining #smiletrain #nycmarathon #nycmarathontraining #tcsnycmarathon
