My Honest Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation Review

Although this is mostly an Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation review, I was also lucky enough to try some of the other makeup products from the brand, too. I hadn’t heard about this brand until I saw the name pop up on some of my keyword research endeavors.

Ere Perez was founded in Sydney, Australia in 2002. This eco-friendly makeup and skincare brand is clean and uses natural ingredients and sustainable packaging. Although it was created in Australia, it is available in many countries worldwide, including the United States!

My Honest Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation Review

Below, I’ll dive deep into what I like about the Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation ($42), and what I don’t care for. Additionally, you can find brief reviews of a few of the other makeup products I’ve tried from the brand, too.

Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation Ingredients

Although I can’t find the Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation review on the EWG’s Skin Deep site, most of the Ere Perez products evaluated by the organization are between a one and a three. Most of the products are a low hazard and very safe for your skin.

Obviously, if you are someone who is concerned about what you’re putting onto your face, this is a great product to use because the ingredients aren’t harmful. Some standout ingredients that I see on the ingredient list include oat kernel extract (avena sativa), peach fruit extract, and vitamin E.

Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation Packaging

The foundations are made with a post-consumer recycled plastic tube. I love that this brand is focused on sustainability, but I do have a bit of an issue with the tube. When I first opened the foundation to test it out, I noticed that I really needed to squeeze on the tube to get anything out. It almost seems like the tube is only half full with foundation. I feel like they need a smaller tube to make it easier to squeeze the product out.

It’s obviously not a huge deal, especially because I would prefer that the brand have sustainable packaging than not. But it’s a bit of an annoyance.

Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation Color Match

The brand sent me two of the Oat Milk Foundation Shades: Malt and Latte. Malt is described as a “Light-Medium Neutral,” and Latte is described as a “Fair Cool.” I would say that Malt is closer to my skin color than Latte, but Malt is still a bit darker than what I normally go for when it comes to a foundation. I can see myself wearing just Malt during the summer months. But I like to mix Malt with a bit of Latte together to get my own skin tone. Maybe I need to try Honey, which is in between those two shades.

It would be great if the brand could expand even more on their shade range. Right now they have 12 shades.

Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation Price

For an all-natural, high-quality foundation, $42 feels pretty fair to me. Many high-end foundations you’ll find at department stores cost more than $50, so the Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation seems doable to me. One hindrance, though, is that I have to mix two foundation shades together to get my actual shade. So, if the brand hadn’t sent me the foundation for editorial consideration, I would have had to spend $84 to get my perfect shade.

However, that just means that the foundation will last me double the amount of time that it normally would since I have two tubes to use up.

Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation Finish and Wear

Honestly, everything that the brand states on their website about the finish and wear of this formula feels true. It’s a pretty lightweight formula that blends really nicely into my skin. It has a dewy finish (but nothing too crazy), and offers medium to full coverage. I think the only way you’d get full coverage is by applying at least two layers of this formula.

The wear on this product is okay. I wore it to a really sweaty, in-person The Class workout, and it stayed put for the most part. The only thing I notice with this formula is that it latches onto areas of my skin that have dry patches. I have a small breakout on my chin that is starting to dry up, and I noticed that the foundation emphasized the dryness of that pimple, especially by the end of the day.

Unfortunately, this happens to me sometimes with many foundations that I use, and I guess it’s just all about moisturizing as much as you can and keeping the area hydrated. I think this pick will work better for me in the spring, summer, and fall months, when my skin isn’t so dang dry, flaking, and peeling.

Ere Perez Coco Crayon in Rebel

Available at The Detox Market ($27)

I cannot for the life of me find this crayon to be able to photograph! Apologies! Once it turns up, I will take some pictures. For now, I will tell you about my experience testing it. This crayon comes in nine shades. I tested one of the darker shades called Rebel, which is a deep berry color.

This is a nice crayon that glides easily onto my lips. I wouldn’t really consider it a super moisturizing formula. But I do think that the added baobab seed oil, coconut oil, and vitamin E adds a light amount of moisture to the crayon. I think the pigmentation of this pick is really impressive, especially because it’s an all-natural formula.

I wouldn’t say that this is super long-wearing, but it’s also not going to come off super fast, either. You will find that you will need to reapply throughout the day. Similar to many other lip products in your purse.

Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot in Humble

Available at The Detox Market ($31)

This is a really lovely, highly pigmented cream blush. Because this is so pigmented, a little goes a long way. You really don’t need much. One thing I will note about this formula is that it’s not super, super blendable. What I like to do is dab it onto a brush, and then lightly apply it to my cheeks until I have the desired amount of pigment.

Because it’s not extremely blendable but super pigmented, it lasts basically all day. You don’t need to worry about reapplying or anything like that. You can also use this formula for your eyes and your lips, but I think the color is too light for my lips.

A great, natural foundation to add to your makeup routine.
Another day where I wore the foundation and blush from the brand!
